Plan a tank mix session

Plan a tank mix session

Audience: Owner, Crew lead
Plan: Pro
Platform: Web
Time to complete: ~10 minutes

Overview

Calculate product amounts for a spray tank using catalog products, label rates, and tank size before applying on a job.

Before you begin

  • Chemical products exist in the catalog (see add-chemical-product).
  • Know target area, tank capacity, and label rates.

Steps

  1. Open Chemicals or Toolbox and choose Plan tank mix (sidebar or More menu on mobile).
  2. Add products from the catalog; confirm formulation and label rate per product.
  3. Enter target (crop/turf area or treatment site) and desired spray volume.
  4. Enter tank capacity (gallons or liters).
  5. Enter or confirm each product’s application rate; review app-calculated mix ratios per tank.
  6. Run compatibility or safety checks if the planner offers them.
  7. Review per-tank and per-acre/hectare (or per-1,000 sq ft) totals.
  8. Save or Export/Print the mix sheet for the crew.

Verify it worked

  • Saved mix shows all products with amounts that sum correctly for the entered tank size.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Option missing or read-only.
Solution: Owners and Crew leads can plan mixes; editing the chemical catalog is Owner-only.
