Update job status and complete work

Overview

Move jobs through statuses (scheduled, in progress, completed) so the calendar and billing stay accurate.

Steps

  1. Open a job from Jobs, the Calendar, or mobile Jobs.
  2. Tap or click the Status control.
  3. Choose In progress when work starts.
  4. Choose Completed when finished; resolve any open tasks on parent jobs first.
  5. Add completion notes or photos if your workflow uses them.

⚠️ Note: Completing a parent job may be blocked while child tasks are still open.

Verify it worked

The job shows Completed and appears in completed reports.
