Create an estimate with multiple line items

Overview

Build an estimate with several services or custom lines, quantities, and pricing for one customer and property.

Before you begin

  • Customer and property exist.
  • Services in your catalog help pre-fill lines (optional).

Steps

  1. Go to Estimates → New Estimate.
  2. Select customer and property.
  3. Choose the estimate type that supports multiple lines (e.g. Standard / multi-line) if prompted.
  4. Click Add line (or Add service) for each item; set description, quantity, unit price, and tax/discount per line.
  5. Review the subtotal, tax, and total in the summary panel.
  6. Set terms, expiration, and notes if shown.
  7. Click Save. The estimate stays Draft until you send it.

Verify it worked

  • The estimate appears in Estimates with all line items and the correct total on the detail screen.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Cannot add lines.
    Solution: Confirm you have edit permission and the estimate is not locked after acceptance.
