Create an invoice from a job or estimate

Overview
Bill a customer by creating an invoice from completed work or an approved estimate.
Before you begin
- Customer with billable job or accepted estimate.
- Document settings configured (logo, terms).
Steps
- From a Job or Estimate, click Create Invoice, or go to Invoices → New Invoice.
- Select customer and line items (or import lines from the job).
- Set due date, tax, and memo.
- Save and optionally Send by email.
- If Stripe is connected, ensure online pay is enabled on the invoice link.
Verify it worked
The invoice appears in Invoices with the correct total; the customer email sends if you chose send.
