Measure a property using the Toolbox

Overview

Draw lawn or treatment areas on the map and save measurements to a property for accurate pricing and chemical calculations.

Before you begin

  • The property exists with a map location (address geocoded).
  • Your plan includes Toolbox (Business tier).

Steps

  1. Open Customers, select the customer, and open the property detail.
  2. Open Toolbox from the sidebar or the property toolbar.
  3. Choose Measure (or Draw) mode and select the polygon, line, or area tool.
  4. On the map, click to place vertices along the boundary; double-click to finish the shape.
  5. Drag vertices or use the edit tool to adjust the outline; set units and a measurement name if prompted.
  6. Click Save or Apply to store the measurement on the property.
  7. Return to the property Summary or Measurements list to confirm the new area displays.

Verify it worked

  • The saved measurement appears on the property detail and in the measurements list with the correct area or length.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Toolbox is missing.
    Solution: Confirm your subscription includes Toolbox; Owners can check plan/features in billing settings.
