Configure invoice and estimate document settings

Overview

Customize how invoices and estimates look on PDFs and customer emails (logo, terms, numbering, tax display).

Before you begin

  • You must be the Owner.
  • Company logo file ready if uploading.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Company → Documents (or Invoices & Estimates document section).
  2. Upload or replace your logo; set header and footer text.
  3. Choose paper size, numbering format for invoices/estimates, and default terms / memo.
  4. Toggle tax display and default language or currency if shown.
  5. Select a template or layout preset if offered.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Open Preview on an invoice or estimate (or download PDF) to confirm branding and fields.

Verify it worked

  • Preview/PDF shows your logo, terms, and numbering; new documents use the saved defaults.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Logo does not appear on PDF.
    Solution: Re-upload within size limits and save again; clear browser cache on preview.
